A Year Ago – My App Faves of the Month

Lately I’ve been thinking about what I was thinking and doing a year ago. Where was I at in my life? What did I find important? I sifted through my old posts from a year ago and this same time last year I was talking about my favorite apps. Let’s update that list shall we?

Last year it looks like I was in organize mode. All my apps were calendar and task related. But right now, The Bible app by Youversion is probably on the top of my list.

Not necessarily a favorite, Instagram is probably the app I open the most.

Next up, the Fitbit app. Charlie and I went back to Fitbit after a year of trying out Nike Fuelband. If you’re on Fitbit too, let’s connect!

Last but not least, Myfitnesspal. I’ve been using this app since 2012 (I used to use the Livestrong app for years before that) and this is the best food tracking app out there. I have a love/hate relationship with it, but really I’ve tried almost all the food tracking apps and this one is by far the best.

2015 – The Journey

Ok I know I’m late. But happy new year! This year has been such a whirlwind for me so far but it has been so eventful and so great. After the holidays, Charlie and I flew off to paradise with some family to get some R&R. We’ve had quite a year last year and we definitely needed the rest and time away from home. Even though I was home sick it was just what the doctor ordered. Plus, how could you not appreciate these views.

Right when we got back we had tickets with my parents to see Wicked at Pantages Theater. If you haven’t seen it yet, go!

But really, during all this time I have been letting God do some work on me. He’s given me time to really think about this upcoming year and what my focus should be. And this year, it’s all about the journey.

2015

For years I’ve focused on the end result. I’ve always done what I needed to do so that the job gets done, so that my goal is achieved. But this year, God has been telling me that the journey is where we learn the most. The journey is what shapes us as people. And I know, with the Lord’s guidance, no matter where the journey will take me it’ll all be worth it.

I hope you’re all having a happy new year so far dear friends!

Kissa’s TV Guide No. 2 – Arrow Season Finale

Note: SPOILER ALERT! If you haven’t watched the finale I suggest you watch first before you read. 🙂

Have you watched it?! OMG, what a way to end the season. The episode was completely captivating from the beginning. But hey, Arrow tends to do that to me with every episode. Honestly, this is my favorite show on TV right now. A little bit of humor, a good amount of action, crazy story plot, and a cute main character. 😉

If you’ve read my previous write up about Arrow you know I’ve been a fan. I binged watched the 1st and 2nd season (aka about 48 episodes) in less than a week. So, let’s recap this 3rd season a bit.
