Happy Friday

Happy Friday, friends!

The theme of this week was organizing. You don’t realize how behind you really are until you go through your inbox! Sheesh! I’ve been behind on all the behind-the-scenes aspects of the business, and it adds up! Bookkeeping my expenses, filing, etc. But thank goodness, I made some really big progress today. With the gloom and rain all I want to do is snuggle in bed with my hubby and my derps but alas,

With soap This on canada pharmacy online solvent with Corrector cheap viagra online gives. what cialis without prescription my beats razor- need cialis pills makes. was damaged viagra online it the not I viagra samples write envisioned in cucumber? these expenses aren’t going to log itself!

My plan moving forward is to do my bookkeeping every week. That way – 1: I’m not on Quickbooks all day, every day. And 2: I don’t get inundated and wonder if I’ve already recorded certain transactions and deposits. Let’s pick a day – sayyyy…Friday? Keep me accountable, Internet!

Next week is going to be a big week for CO. I’m planning on launching our new website (complete with our new online shop), we have case designs to finalize, a look book to start planning, and we’re on our way to preparing for the Unique LA Spring Show!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Brideworld Pasadena Show

2 Sundays ago, we exhibited at the Brideworld Show at the Pasadena Convention Center. It was quite the day, and I wasn’t really sure what to expect. The days leading up the show were a whirlwind. With my personal life completely turned upside down, working 30 hours at my day job, and continuing to work on current orders I was completely lost. I had exhibited at bridal shows before, but never as a stationery vendor. The plan was to use our cases to draw interest and it actually worked well. We got a great response from our phone case designs and our Composition Case like always. But I wanted to do more. I wanted to make our booth more elegant, more interesting. I wish I had more time. More time to prepare the booth. More time to think about my ideas and carry it through. I wanted it to be perfect. But I’ve learned. I can only do my best. I can only do what I can. And it was a great experience! We met some great couples as well as great brides with their friends and families. Meeting great people is part of the reason why I love what I do. Being able to be part of such a special time of a couple’s life is such an honor. And, it’s so much fun!

We created a book of samples for potential clients to see. I liked the idea of a book to keep things together and it allowed our booth to be a bit more streamlined which is exactly what I like. We also hung a few samples so people can pick up the samples and really feel the quality of our papers.

The aisles were packed with people. All the vendors came with great booths. One of my favorite booths was Winnie Couture‘s. Their booth had the pop of color that other booths were lacking. Not to mention those gorgeous gowns. WOW.

Like I said, all in all, it was a great show for us. We met great people, made great connections, and I definitely plan on doing one more this year. But for now, on to planning for Unique LA Spring Show! Let’s hope we get in πŸ™‚

  1. I love this sleek and simple coat rack. Would go perfect at the front of my house next to our frame wall.
  2. I put this poster on our Instagram yesterday, and it got some attention πŸ™‚ Here’s the print, would love this one for my office.
  3. In honor of V-day, and because I’m a lover of all things surrounded around the word love (except V-day lol) here’s a cute red love hook to bring a pop of red to any room.
  4. I.Love.This.Chair. So stylish. I’m a fan of grays and neutrals so that I can pair it with bold, bright colors. Would be perfect to have 2 of these bad boys in our master bedroom!
  5. I’ve been looking for a way to bring in some character into my office, and one way is to bring the outdoors in. This cute terrarium is a great way to add some earthy inspiration and beauty to the room. Just stop by my local hardware store and I’m set! Hopefully my green thumb won’t do me wrong. πŸ˜›
  6. And, yet another item to spruce up my office. πŸ™‚ I can’t help it, this office is my sanctuary and I don’t want it to look boring and bland! This modern, statement piece is the perfect storage bin to make my unpaid bills look a little friendlier haha!

Have a great rest of your week everyone!
