Shae and Russell’s Wedding Day Stationery – Porter Ranch Wedding

If you didn’t already know – I. Love. Weddings. I love them. It’s one of the most important and special days of 2 people’s lives. There is so much happiness, anticipation, love, and fun rolled up into 1 short day. But my favorite part about weddings (aside from the ceremony because I cry every time) – seeing how the whole wedding came together to really showcase the couple’s personality. Charlie and I had the honor of attending Shae and Russell’s wedding, and it was gorgeous.

Since they were having an outdoor ceremony, Shae wanted to do program fans. To keep everything tied in with their invites, we used the same metallic textured stock and the same color family.

As they should be, the menus were a matching set to the programs to tie it all in. The food was so yummy 🙂

It’s such a rewarding feeling to see your work put to use. 🙂

Congratulations Shae and Russell! Here’s to many many years of life, love, and happiness.

Brandan and Chris’s Wedding Invites

I don’t think I’ve ever had the chance to mention this on my blog. But I love Etsy. It has done so much for my business. Since opening my shop in 2009 it’s undergone some changes, but as my business has grown and changed Etsy has continued to give me opportunities I never had!

Brandan purchased our Ombre Wedding Invitation Suite from our shop and we worked together to create these gorgeous invites.

Shae and Russell’s Wedding Invitations – Porter Ranch Wedding

Shae is a beautiful person, she’s going to be an even more beautiful bride. I’ve known Shae since our dancing days, when we met in 2006. She was one of the founding members of our dance group, V.ENT, and is such a talented individual. Time has passed (7 years to be exact), life happened, and here we are – Charlie and I are married, and Shae with a beautiful daughter.

She’s getting married in July and I had the opportunity to design her Save the Date card AND her invitations.

Her theme is whimsy and shabby chic – which definitely fits with her personality. Here’s the Save the Date design we shared on our Instagram account.

When it came time for her invites. We wanted to continue with the theme. So we went with a textured, off white, metallic paper as the main card. It’s my favorite stock to use for invites – such a luxurious look and feel.

To incorporate her wedding colors, we used a silky teal backing and a matte coral in between. It definitely made that card pop! I love how it brought out the colors in the invitation.

I absolutely love typography! I love it having the challenge of setting up a design with nothing but type. We design the RSVP to match the invite card without taking too much away from the design.

I can’t wait to start working on her menu’s, place cards, and ceremony programs!
