Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of having a booth at the Bridal Showplace at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a show. I was ready to meet some great new people!
We had a nice corner booth space which gave me the opportunity to showcase some of our invitation samples as well as our wedding cards.
We had a great time at the show and I think it was a great success! Thinking about doing it
again 🙂 January maybe?
OMG you guys. What a whirlwind these past few weeks have been. Between my day job, prepping for Unique LA, invite orders, and finding time to live, it’s been crazy to say the least. We were so honored to be able to sell our products at Unique LA for a 2nd time. It was amazing. The vibe at this show is just so different. It’s positive, uplifting, and fun! The shoppers are great, the Unique Team is hospitable, and the vendors are friendly. We did great at this show, more than what we would have imagined! I wish I had more of my own photos to share, but my images got erased so here is my one and only photo from the show that I salvaged from my Instagram account. We made some improvements to our booth this time. We got a more sturdy base to put some weight to the bottom and created some packaging for the phone cases to give them a nice, clean white backdrop. We made some great friends, Thomas from Mimot Studio was one of our neighbors from the day and the guys from Paddington which were a few rows down.
I am THE WORST at putting myself out there. I’m always scared of what I should say, I don’t want to come off too pushy, and I’m scared of being me because I’m worried they won’t like me. But I told myself that all that self-doubt ends this year. So, Charlie and I went to the Cream Event at the Vibiana on Sunday. I didn’t really know what to expect but WOW, we had a great time!
We arrived in DTLA right at 6 but the line was out the door and down the street so we decided to stop by Little Tokyo and grab a snack and a drink.
It was my first time at Vibiana, I’ve seen gorgeous photos but had never actually been there before. It’s a gorgeous venue. When you walk into the grounds you can see a view of the outdoor space and you’re immediately taken to the indoor area of the venue.
I ran into my friend Amber at Pitbulls and Posies, she had a gorgeous display up!
While we were inside, we got to see some beautiful spaces from Urbanic, Urban Palete, and Minted and Vintage.
Minted and Vintage had the cutest display. Gorgeous cake stands and plates available for rent.
The food we tasted from Urban Palate was to die for! Really yummy 🙂
We also ran into Charm City Cakes West and got to taste one of their confections, their cake is really tasty and moist! This cake was drop dead gorgeous.
What a great event! Lots of eye candy, lots of people, and lots of good times. 🙂 What would’ve been icing on the cake would be Charlie entering into the dance contest, but I guess we’ll have to save that for next year 😛
PSA: Sorry for the super low quality photo! It was our only photo together from the entire evening!
