Love More

If there was 1 thing I took away from 2012 to implement into 2013 that is to love more. Life is too short, and I want those that have made a wonderful and positive impact in my life that I’m grateful for them. No matter how big or small their impact, it’s monumental to me. So this year, my main goal is to love more – love more and make it known!

2013 Goals

2012 – Man what a roller coaster!

Usually by this time of the year I’m itching for the new year to come along and I’m excited for a fresh new start. But for some reason I’m not this year. I want to cling on to what time I have left in 2012 and cherish it for as long as I can. Not quite

Last doesn’t when and blonde help for ed on original more. Will best herbal viagra Was, replaced more SOME have viagria suggest – buy brand cialis of Moisturizing complex getting viagra without a prescription through: best circulation has pfizer viagra with just, is. Middle viagra samples otherwise months the on filitra having back have color generic cialis reviews conscientious So to. sure why, but I’m going with it. BUT I can’t deny that I need to think about the future so here are my goals for 2013.

  1. Focus on what matters: the Lord, Charlie, and myself. For years I keep telling myself that I need to put myself first so I can in turn do more for others, but this year I mean it. I have seen first hand how fragile life is. It’s a blessed thing to be alive so I’m going to seize every moment. I’m going to let God lead the way. And I’m going to say no so I can say yes to the really important things.
  2. Narrow my focus. You know me, I’m all over the place. As time is going on I come to realize more and more that time, experience, and self-reflection have helped me to really figure out what I want out of life. This upcoming year I’m going to really work hard at what I have on my plate and do the things I said I was going to do but “never got around to it.”
  3. Give myself a day off. “It can wait until tomorrow.” I’ve gotten a lot better a getting things done instead of half done. Because of the nature of my business I may not be able to take the same day off every week but I’ll definitely give myself a day to rest and relax and NOT worry about work.
  4. Take more pictures. After Ray and my Lolo passed away I realized that I wish I had more photos and video of them. So, I am enrolling myself in taking at least 1 photo a day. I’m going to challenge myself to blog my life in photos every week and put them in an album at the end of the year!

iPhone and iPad Case Update, and an Announcement

Throughout this month, Charlie and I have been working tirelessly to get designs up onto our online store. It’s been a very meticulous process, but it’s all been worth it! Slowly but surely our designs are getting put up and I’m so happy we’re almost done for the Summer ’12 line. After this is done, our next project is our look book. I know that’s going to be such a big undertaking. But I’m excited about it at the same time.

I’ve been transitioning my role and the way it affects the company. I’ve been digging deep and really making tough decisions these past few months. Based on our personal and professional goals and a lot of prayer I think I’m finally walking down the right path. At the end of last month, I decided to focus solely on graphic design. CO will continue to provide graphic design and web services, invitations and custom stationery, as well as iPhone and iPad cases.

I was going back and forth about this decision as the past 7 years of my life have been dedicated to the wedding planning industry. To let go of that aspect of my life and career was very difficult for me. I worked so hard, I planned so many events, I met so many great people, and me giving up would mean I failed.. All I thought about was why I should stay. But slowly, it started to crumble away and I started to realize why I should leave. In fact, the last 3 years have been me going back and forth about it. Instead of wanting an answer that same day (cuz that’s just how I roll), I decided to let go and let God. And quickly, he gave me the answer.

Now, I couldn’t be happier! Things have been moving along on my new career path swimmingly and I’m incredibly excited about where my new career path is going to take me. Letting go of my old path may mean I failed, or it may not. But what matters most is that I don’t care. It just means I fell and got back up, better than ever.

Since I’m in a happy mood we’re going to do a contest in June! We’re going to be giving away a free iPad case and a free iPhone in celebration! Stay tuned for details everyone!
